forth:
	The Forth Interest Group had the largest impact with
	the free forth implementation that we usually refer to
	as fig-forth. The sources and the style of implementation
	have been influencing a huge collection of other forth
	systems. During the 80's the ansi standard defined rules
	that were in more than one respect simply incompatible
	with fig-forth.

	The site itself has lost its impact on the forth community,
	much of which has been overtaken by ../../website/taygeta
	with respect to internet life.

	The FIG seems to sit on the other end of the balance
	that the ../../website/forth.com has in use.
